Why choose DocuQuest?

All products are targeted at being used in the manufacturing in large facilities. Main target audience are quality managers and quality departments. For example:

  • 1. Product manager (PM) creates a document explaining a procedure for assembly of something
  • 2. PM submits the document in DocuQuest for approval. When submitted, the document has a specification on whether it needs to be trained on (general workers in the plant).
  • 3. Approvers approve or disapprove the document.
  • 4. Once approved the document gets published and accessible for everyone (if not restricted – security is build in the system based on group membership, individual accounts, etc).
  • 5. Once published, PeopleQuest receives an event notification about the training type.
  • 6. If the document publish event is a revision, PeopleQuest will update training records on people that need to be trained (based on internal rules for people <-> job association, etc).
  • 7. If the document is a newly published, PeopleQuest will create new training records based on the rules from (6).
  • 8. PeopleQuest manages training status on documents (reminders, reminders to managers, Quality Managers, etc – based on whether the employee take the training or not).
  • 9. Once published, the document becomes accessible from ProjectQuest (as attachment selectable from within the system) and CRQuest. Both applications always use document with the latest revision.
